[Weekend Meditation]

Looking back on the week: Who is God?

(Mon) The God who, through the one who hears His word, ensures that the word does not fall to the ground but surely becomes life.

(Tues) The personal God who shatters the idols we have made, so that we may meet Him as the goal itself, not as a means to an end.

(Wed) The God who, in the very place where we despair that glory has departed due to our failure, fights for Himself to reclaim His glory.

(Thurs) The God who, regardless of our state, allows us to see His glory in our ordinary daily lives, letting us taste true joy.

(Fri) The faithful God who breaks the long silence and turns us completely back to Himself through true repentance.
That God is our God.
