[Weekend Meditation: Looking back on the week]

Who is God?

(Mon) The God who, through the devotion of a kinsman-redeemer, puts a period on the “era without a king” and finally opens the “way of the King.”

(Tue) The God who uses the suffering of our lives as a channel for true prayer, allowing us to enjoy peace through the faith of grace.

(Wed) The God who allows us to experience the gospel of the “Great Reversal” that overturns the world’s values, causing us to praise His salvation.

(Thu) The God who makes us realize daily that knowing Him is not due to any of our qualifications or merits, but is entirely by grace.

(Fri) The faithful God who, even in a place full of darkness, nurtures a single ray of light and ultimately accomplishes His will.

That God is our God.

– Today’s meditation is to look back on the Word from this past week.

– Have a blessed weekend reflecting on God’s faithfulness, who works in the midst of despair, as the hope of Ruth leads to the birth of Samuel.
