A Look Back at the Week: Who is God?

(Mon) The God who removes our boasts through ‘holy subtraction’ and establishes us, empty-handed, as worshipers.

(Tue) The God who fights for us when we blow the trumpets of faith, letting us know who the true Lord of victory is.

(Wed) The God who becomes our King by making our two hearts kneel with His words, “I will rule over you.”

(Thu) The God who makes us see the hidden desire within, ‘Abimelech,’ and from that very place, makes us turn and head toward Him.

(Fri) The God who exposes the vain boasts of the world, which are like the shade of a thornbush, and causes us to boast only in the cross of Christ.

That is the God who is our God.
