[Weekend Meditation]

Looking back on the week: Who is God?

(Mon) The God who takes hold of the ‘me’ who acts as I see fit, and ultimately makes me stand before the true King.

(Tue) The God who corrects my vision, distorted by greed, with the Word of truth, so I may see rightly.

(Wed) The God who brings my ‘self-righteousness’ to an end through failure, and in that very place, produces the fruit of humility.

(Thu) The God who, in the place where my experience, knowledge, and zeal have crumbled, receives the ‘worship of a broken spirit.’

(Fri) The God who, in the midst of the wailing over an empty victory, instead begins His own unrelenting zeal.

That God is our God.
